Energy companies that don't charge extra for not having a smart meter

I was with Bulb and now they have been taken over by Octopus. I am not getting a good vibe from this company and I see they charge more if you don't have a smart meter.
Can anyone recommend a company that doesn't charge extra for not having one?
Thanks.

I'm dual fuel with Octopus and don't have a smart meter for gas, not being penalised AFAIK.0

No one ever charged extra for not having a smart meter, you just had access to some cheaper smart meter only tariffs but most of them don't exist any more. They are limited by the price cap SVR.

I'm with Octopus, don't have smart meters, and they do not charge extra.

No supplier will have higher rates if you don't have a smart meter at this moment.
Smart meter users have access to specialised tariffs, but the SVT tariff will be the same.
What makes you believe you are paying more?0 -

Where does it say Octopus charge more if you have bog standard meters ?0 -
Octopus does offer some smart meter only tariffs, that often work out cheaper than standard tariffs.
But that is not the same as charging extra for not having a smart meter (although some hysterical media reports like to suggest otherwise).4 -
Getting mixed up with the higher price for non-Direct Debit payment?0

If you are not an Octopus customer and you do not have a smart meter, you will miss out on Martin Lewis’ latest tariff recommendation:

Some of Octopuses smart tariffs work out cheaper for certain users (EV owners, solar panel and battery owners) which can’t technically be provided without smart meters, but for all the standard tariffs it costs you the same.0
