My mother is in a care home she has been paying for he care up until January this year, and email was sent from the care home to say that people in carehomes my be able for the government energy bills, they require proof of payment, which we have until January this year do you think that we are able to get the payment backdated from when it started until January? Any advise would be grateful

I'm not sure but it's definitely worth applying, the worst that can happen is they say no.
