Just been back for another look at this one from groatie queen - will be favouriting it I can see.
I've sent a couple of the e-cards and watched one of the videos (Brother David - a Good Day) - some lovely scenery on it. Groatiequeen has obviously found what I was scanning YouTube for this morning - but couldnt spot it myself.
Think I will keep it and allow myself one topic per Sunday from it.0 -
The gratefulness website has put me back in touch with another great website which I saved in favourites years ago. It is the work of Ralph Marston who is a wizard at putting together great powerpoints of images and music with inspirational thoughts, and has a daily inspiration page as well. Highly recommended for soul soothing and starting the day with a positive thought!

By the way, as well as sending off the 'bought' videos, I've chucked the recorded-from-tv ones. I was amazed how many of the blank labels provided by Sony, JVC et al hadn't been used - so they're earmarked for freezer, jams, etc!

Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -
Thank you Mary, Rosie, and Ceredwin. And thank you again, Mary, for finding the time to help solve my other panic today - what a day! I'm very indebted.
I do feel panicked, but will slow down and give myself a pat on the back. It is terribly disheartening sometimes, but having gone for what turned out to be a fantastic walk, I feel refreshed and revived. I'd like to get to the discussion about coming out the other end that you mention, Rosie.
I will continue to read thru the thread, but I think your suggestion is a clever way to do it Ceredwin. I've been getting too bogged down, which slows me, and makes me feel I'm not getting anywhere. I wanted to follow groatie queen's link, but gave myself a stiff talking to. Time later on!
Thank you, all. :T

Its just a couple of posts really, #816 and #817. It is disheartening but just keep doing a little at a time and you'll begin to see results.
To remind yourself of what you have achieved you could keep a note of what areas you've sorted or what list you've got rid of?... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

The photography on that site is absolutely stunning... such a reminder of all the beauty in the world that is free. Thank you:A“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

Another good one groatiequeen - very in keeping with the kind of stuff I have been linking with/Aril has found as quotes/etc. Wisdom and inspiration comes from all sources on my "thread" - it is very important I feel that we acknowledge that "water can be drawn from many different wells" and I am pleased to see that you and others have "caught" this so well.0
