Definitely worth parking the car a distance from your home - and not on a main route they might use when heading to you ideally.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I've created such a pathetic, stupid, stressful mess for myself 😓EssexHebridean said:Definitely worth parking the car a distance from your home - and not on a main route they might use when heading to you ideally.
The property we rent has a garage that we have access too and is detached from the house... and also doesn't have the corresponding house number above it either weirdly! Again another problem here is the landlord has a fair bit of stuff in here he stored when one of his parents died last year. 90% sure I wont be able too create enough space by rearranging it all too fit the car in though!
Think I'm going too create another thread on the forum too cover this specific problem I have and see/hope others may have experience in similar and can offer their advice and any they have about Time orders too.
Thank you all for your continued replys and support, I will try and keep the threas up to date as much as possible.DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0 -
Also on the default email it says I will be contacted by the company who will be collecting or receiving car too discuss "Voluntary Surrender" of the vehicle... I'm hoping this will give me a few more days at least too finalise a plan on how I will get through until I can pay court fee (if needed after applying for fee support) or the finance company taking too court for me be able too apply for the time order for free In response too them taking action against me.DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0

Hi all
Just wanted too add an update to my situation.
Today I recieved a call from the company instructed too collect or recover the vehicle asking too arrange a convenient time to do so. I asked him too let me speak too the finance company and I would get back too him. I called them straight after, and they again informed me there was nothing they can do and that the proceedings would still go ahead as they are until recovery or instructed otherwise.
I then phoned National Debtline for some help and guidance with my whole situation and problem. I spoke too a lovely lady on the phone for around 2 and a half hours going through all my problems and issues with debts and the HP agreement. She was very very helpful, understanding and caring too my situation and although nothing is immediately sorted I feel a little and more determined too sort this problem out. Initially she mentioned there could be a problem with the way they issued default etc but sounds like they sent it out regardless if I recieved or not. So not sure what will happen here but I guess nothing.
Still worried as hell they will lift the car at some point and quickly need too find a solution for that ASAP. I feel like a right wrogun, for having too even think about acting this way. I need too at least try and rectify this too keep car and enable me too be able too get top work and fulfill my commitments.
Will ring National Debtline again tomorrow too update them about the default issue etc and then try and go through applying for the time order with their help/guidance if possible.
Hope your all OK and having a better time than I am currently. I cried myself too sleep last night and have also ended up this evening in hospital with something in my eye from work 🙄🙈 When it rains.. it pours I guess

Hi Leigh. Sounds like you're going through a difficult time but don't beat yourself up on top of it - we all make mistakes! Hope your eye is ok and you have a better day tomorrow.

Hi all
So the recovery people have attended my property today whilst I'm at work and left a note for me too call them at earliest possible convenience.
The car wasn't there and is with me.... I need to get it "lost" away as soon as possible. I'm in an absolute panic about it now!DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0 -
Morning all
Advice needed if possible...
I have moved the vehicle too private property elsewhere now and if I am correct even if found by recovery agents it cannot be lifted without a court order? Do I have that correct?
The agent left me a note too say call at most convenient time when he visited yesterday.
Do I phone him and tell him that the car won't be Voluntarily surrendered and is now on private property in an attempt too get him too notify finance company and hopefully speed up them taking too court so I can apply for time order for free?
Or do I phone the finance company and tell them?
Any guidance or opinions would be grateful here

I don't think this Time Order thing is the silver bullet you think it will be.
Can you walk to work or get a bus?2 -

Point taken about hiding and not paying for it... I'm trying too get back there...
Why do you think it will not be what I think it will be? Genuine question btw. From what I have read about it, if granted it will be absolutely what I want and need it too be. National Debtline think I should go for it too.
Walking or bus is an absolute nightmare between my house and work. If I have too do it then that's what it will be.... its my other commitments outside of work that will affect me more with running a football team and club, plus kids etcDEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0
