social tariffs and pension credit

My partner is struggling to find a provider. He gets some pension credit. Each provider he's found asks for the address, gets a form filled in, then says he's not eligible because it's the wrong area (so why not reject it at the start), or that he doesn't get enough pension credit. Any ideas?

If your your partner entitled to the "Pension Credit Guarantee Credit" element (even if only a very small amount) he will be entitled to this ore other schemes which ask for Pension Credit as qualification (means-tested). Savings Credit (non means-tested) is normally not accepted as qualification it's own.
Your partner must have received his new reward letter just recently, you will find all the details in there, whether he's is rewarded Guarantee Credit or Savings Credit (or a combination of both).0
