YBS Online Login Issue

I've just opened a YBS Loyalty Six Access Saver e-ISA. I had an old Egg account, who were taken over by YBS in 2011, which fortunately seems to qualify me as an 'existing member'. It's a very long time since I last logged in to my account online, and I find that I'm still able to do so, but only with some difficulty.

In around 2 out of every 3 attempted logins I get a message saying "Sorry, the password or access code you entered is incorrect. You have 2 attempts remaining". I've done this enough times now to know with absolute certainty that the password and access codes I'm entering ARE correct. I've tried using different browsers, clearing cookies prior to attempting to login, but it doesn't make any difference. Does anybody else get this? Is there some special trick that's need to reliably login?

Thanks

  • Not here. It's a bit of a clunky process, but I normally get on okay without the issues you're having.

I've been trying to log on today and it keeps failing, normally no problem.  I think they were doing some updates yesterday and I phoned them this morning to ask if there are any known issues as I can't log on.  I was told they were doing some updates earlier today, but there are no known issues.  They were not interested that I couldn't log on, despite telling them that I couldn't  :s

Thanks, good to hear it's not just me! I'll leave it a few days and try again. Fortunately if you close your browser after it fails you seem to get your three lives back, so I've not been locked out so far.

I've just phoned them again as needed to make a transaction, and they finally admit there is now a known error.  They were hopeful that it will be resolved today.

I found difficulty in logging in - after a few attempts I gave it best and went off to do something else for half an hour or so,

Logged in without any problems after that and completed my transaction.

You could download the app on your phone, as once it's setup you can use fingerprint to access. This is on Android, I don't know about Apple but presume it's similar with face id etc.

But if you prefer not to use apps, it's all cool  B)

The app is OK for simple activities but lacking compared to web login (eg deposits into accounts).  Bit frustrating that they don't improve app functionality.
