FaceBook Warning Is This Real? Help

So, there is a community I can read on Facebook but cannot post, blocked about 8 or 9 years ago.  I was cheeky in a reply.

So this morning this popped up when I went to the community.  I do read it.

It is not showing on my Timeline or in any of the other groups I belong to.  Which are about perfume a hobby and Burmese cats, I own one.

Now, I was stupid and clicked the link, sorry it was just after 6 am I was not fully awake and in moron mode.  It refused to accept my password, saying wrong details.  I signed out of Facebook in the normal way and then back in using my password and no problem.  I have changed my password.  Oh, when I clicked the link, I did get a warning about not verified or safe from Firefox.

So, is this real from Facebook or someone trying to hack into my account?   Really hope not.

Thank you.

    It's a scam.

Did you read the wording? Look at the grammar.

Never click on an email link.

Definitely a scam - make sure that any other app/account/email/bank etc. that uses the same login details and password are also changed as a matter of urgency.

    I have changed my password.

And any other account of any type that used the same password?

Yes, all have different passwords, thankfully.

Just to note that if you use a tool to expand that 'cutt.ly' shortened link then it expands to an 'http' and not 'https'.
That's never a good sign, nobody genuine should still be using 'http' for a current weblink/website.

All https does (as opposed to http) is encrypt the data over the link to the website.

If all you are doing is browsing your favourite newspaper then http is fine.

I'd assume the ban was justified for repeatedly beginning sentences with So.

    Seems fair to me.
    Hurrah, not just me then!
