If you get a carers cinema card you need the award letter to be within the last 12 months for example. Saves quite a lot of money on going to the cinema.

Them cards are just a waste of £6 and a lot of kerfuffle. When I visit the cinema I just tell the person serving I'm with my support worker and they always let the person I'm in for free even if it's just my friend. No problems.

Lucky you. However I've only had that happen a few times (that is over 13 or so years at least) when I've bought tickets in person. That is with me asking for the wheelchair space as I rarely transfer and my OH who cares for me being there.
Basically if I didn't have the card I was denied the carers free ticket. 

I usually buy online to make sure they have the wheelchair space to save on travel costs for my OH (or whoever else I go with) and also save my energy as I don't always have a lot. You need the cards code to get the carers free ticket even if you get the wheelchair space.

£6 to save the cost of another ticket is well worth it for us.

Got my PIP update letter today. It is dated 16th of March!
