Apparently they are late sending them out this year for some reason.
It's been discussed on the professional benefits advisors forum, reports there this week say that they are now starting to arrive
  • Got mine last week dated 15th March,  last years one was dated 14th March.

    Mrs got hers yesterday.

Seems a waste of money, postage & paper given they have already been published.

Not really. It can be useful for blue badge applications as a PIP/DLA letter must be dated within the last 12 months. Although they have been published, not everyone will have internet access so they may not know what the new rates will be.

I know they've been published, but I like it on an official DWP letter

Personally, I keep one of those concertina files with everything in.

Things like credit card bills, Council Tax, bank statements, product guarantees, DWP letters, etc

I think things like this would be good to have an opt-out, but the cost of administering that might be more than they save from the letters they don't send …

I expect it will go on-line in the future as that is the direction of travel with most things.

It is useful for a lot of things.
If you get a carers cinema card you need the award letter to be within the last 12 months for example. Saves quite a lot of money on going to the cinema.

I'm waiting for my PIP letter this year still. I'm sure I've had them by now in previous years.
