With 2/3 of the quarter gone I'm pleased to be able to say I have lost a further 1 lb, so 2 lb since 1 April. In fact it is almost 3 lb since 1 January. My BMI is 20.9 (and has been in the "healthy" range for quite a long time now).
2 lb was my target for the quarter but I'm keeping an eye on maintaining my weight as I'm going on holiday soon with less control over what exactly I am eating.
I'll report back at the end of the quarter.
Well done to everyone sticking with the challenge.5 -
Thanks, Brambling☺ 1lb loss for this week3

Morning everyone, another O.5lb off this week, its painfully slow now but I'm still hanging on. Why are the last few pounds always so difficult to shift ?5

a difficult few weeks ,dodgy hip gave way in the garden resulting in me face planting a concrete path .Spent several hours in A/E (taking heavy duty blood thinners post last years stent ) needed iv drugs to stop bleeding ,broken nose ,two black eyes etc .Then the cold then a chest infection !
diet gone out of the window ,
Braved the scales today and -11/2 lb since last weigh in .
will try and get to grips with life again

Well, after my week on hols I've put on 1/2 lb, which is annoying as my calories in mostly equalled calories out! Suspect it's the booze, although I counted that too!
Back to the usual diet now. I managed a 3 mile run round the beach this morning before it gets too hot later and will aim for daily yoga. I know the exercise doesn't make much impact on weight loss, but it's good to feel fitter and stronger :-)
Hope y'all have a positive week ☀️4 -

STS for me, (well the scales go up and down quarter of a lb)
I think I have lost a bit of enthusiasm, the problem with the neighbour continues, I think the fact that we never get a day with a bit of peace is getting me down a bit, 2 hr period today and over a dozen issues, I'm on a waiting list for recording equipment.
Going to attempt to have an alcohol-free week, must not let neighbours pickle me off so I need a drink!
Have a good week all.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538
