Another 2lb loss for me - cutting the weekday alcohol and ramping up the walking is doing the trick. Yay!

Well done everyone and keep going!

Thanks for running the thread, Brambling, it has really helped to reset my motivation.☺

  • Landed back a couple of days ago, jumped on the scales this morning, early indication is that I am quarter of a pound down, I was able to get more exercise in ... less chance of a fall when Mr P is with me and swimming every day helps.  Also managed to stay off bread, swopped those calories for gin and ice cream.

Hello to all the new members, well done if you are still with us from Jan.

@Van_Girl, 7 lb is marvellous and happy belated birthday Brambling, hope you had cake.

    Have a lovely weekend all.

Evening, it's an sts week for me unsurprisingly as I've been away a few days.  I did a lot of walking but also enjoyed the lovely food and partook of a few bevvies.  However I'm back on track this week so the challenge continues.

I weighed myself on my OH's analogue scales, and they think I'm 3lbs down from my last weigh in 🤯. I'm mega happy with that, but will see what my weight is next Friday on my digital scales. They can't be that far out though? 4 weeks till sun holiday target so keeping going. I've got 7lbs to go to get to the top end of my ideal weight range.
The mostly daily yoga and workouts are definitely doing me good. We went for a 10 mile walk yesterday in the countryside and my legs aren't complaining too much today, so far... Will have a rest day today.
Hope everyone has a positive week and enjoys some sunshine. This thread is great for support, so thanks all x

Forgot to weight myself on Thursday as my knee has been very painful this last week and I've not slept well. Weighed today and STS which is fine as I've not been able to do much this week (even struggled with my physio exercises!) I've been making sure my lunches are a pasta bowl full of salad with a little protein followed by a piece of fruit which has mostly been enough to keep me going until supper time. As my knee has been so painful I got my partner to buy some bagged salad to make lunches easier for myself, sometimes spending a little extra for convenience is the best option to keep you on the straight and narrow.

  • Tesco are selling a 'thin' version of Warburtons crumpets, 61 calories, 97 for the regular size... I do try to stay away from bread type products, but thought they looked ok for 61 cal.
