NSD No 6
Goodness you are all so busy. I spent yesterday doing absolutely nothing (apart from making the soup). I watched a four part series about Charles II on Firestick . It was made in 2003, Great cast of actors. I don't know how I missed it first time round.
Anyway, I had better make up for my slothfulness today. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -

@Shrewbie I've felt like that before about a hobby and ended up packing it in, didn't miss it!
Today was a planned spend day with a couple of added unplanned spends. Had tickets to an exhibition at the NHM in London. Good lord it was absolutely packed. Hadn't appreciated just how busy it would be. Can't say I enjoyed it as much as I was hoping and the exhibition was good but not great. Hey ho. Also bought lunch out (this was planned) and had topped up my oyster card in advance.
Came home and made some vegan chilli as we also had the shopping delivery first thing this morning. I took one of my rabbits to the vet as she was snuffly over the weekend and she's been quite unwell in the past with something similar. She's absolutely fine and in excellent health according to the vet so only the consultation to pay for.
I also bought a few mugs and plates online. I only needed one mug as a replacement for my favourite coffee mug which has a large crack down the side but ended up spending a bit more than planned. Money has come from my house fund so it's not debt or anything like that. Just a tad unnecessary.6 -

@lcc86 I hope your bunny is better soon.
NSD#1 🎉🎉
Slept like a log! Hung the washing out, then went for a walk with DH after breakfast. A friend was coming round to cut DS1's hair, so I prepped more wool for my rug & had a natter too.
A late dinner, then spent 2 happy hours tidying & weeding a border. There's still bits to do, but it looks a lot better already. The sun was shining & I was listening to Liza Tarbuck's gardening podcast.
Had a nap.whilst tea was cooking, then sewed a memory bear together. Chose a new book to read, just waiting for my turn in the bath.
Grateful for a dry, sunny afternoon, time in the garden, appreciating the little thingsUse it up, wear it out

Today I am grateful for a chance to sit in the sunshine with a coffee and a book (waiting for a friend who was 45 mins late - where's that rolly eyes smilie...?), for finding the required underwear to buy and having a 15% discount, for quite enjoying my trip to ikealand by only looking for the things on my list and trotting through the store at a fast pace, for dc's friend's mum bringing them home this evening, for the tulips coming into flower (though the daffs are still out and I remember a conversation with my dad about how you should never see them both out at the same time...), for setting up a new bank account, for having a car to make all of today's toing and froing a lot easier.

Still on NSD 5, and still ignoring the housework!
I have painted some more- should be finished the room tomorrow, then I just need to empty a storage cupboard to paint the inside of it (yes it's probably not entirely necessary but it will look so much better and if I don't do it I will always feel the room isn't finished).
Once the painting is finished I need to stop the hall being a "dumping ground" both DD and I are bad for just leaving stuff there rather than putting it away. It looks so much better now it's painted I want it to stay looking "nice".
Grateful today for DD enjoying her sports camp, the sun shining while I rode and paint being reduced when I went to buy more.

Thanks @lcc86, I think that’s what I’ll end up doing. I can’t justify the money when there are other things that I enjoy much more.Yesterday was NSD 4. Went for a long walk at lunchtime and found some pretty streets full of expensive houses, and some which looked more affordable but probably weren’t. I am sticking to my savings plan for a deposit so far, have said no to a few expensive summer plans with friends as I know my hol budget is close to being maxed out. The fear of missing out is pretty strong but I’m trying to ignore it.Had a good chat with a girl from Seville who gave me some tips for my trip next month. We will be going at the tail end of the annual fair so the atmosphere should be pretty lively.Grateful for interesting chats with colleagues, for neighbour’s dog running up to greet me this morning, for eating a work frog.Student loan £5655

Didn't do a lot but did do something (2nd day with left ankle having arch support, ankle support bandage and a crepe bandage wrapped firmly around both). Parcel watch for most of the day but DS3 was awake so he did parcel watch whilst I took two paper bags stuffed with paper to the bins (to be collected today), moved two buckets of stones into the rubble sacks - I only collect as many as I can comfortably move and then I empty them into 3 rubble sacks I've set up inside next door's yard and did a little more soil shifting. I'd spread out the heaped up soil and it went through the sieve fairly easily. That bit is next to where next door's wall was, so there are many pieces of bricks and mortar, to pick out which is easier than picking out scraps of rubbish and weed roots (I'm currently working on 4 or 5 different patches, each of which has it's own challenges).
I'd had enough by 10.30 am so checked that DS3 was okay with continuing parcel watch and went back to bed for a couple of hours. Didn't sleep but had a good rest and stretch. Went down to make my lunch, happily shared the couch with DS3 for a few hours (he had a couple of hours upstairs, he's fixing the glitches in a game he's just brought out so is working long hours). Lots of reading and watching episodes of an Irish police series (desperate for the villain policeman to get his comeuppance as he's turned the whole station against the young policewoman who's on to him, had her beaten up by some criminals and nearly driven her to quit). The parcels came around 6 pm (2 for me, one for Beloved) and after making and eating a lovely salad, I was ready for bed.
Grateful for getting things done despite obstacles, making meals from the fridge (and someone's else's leftovers) and eating reasonably healthily (DS3 gave me an Easter egg, I left it where it was on the far side of the room and then he brought it across so I ate half), parcels arriving (absolutely nothing exciting, paint scrapers, sanding blocks - my old ones have been used / broken from overuse whilst I was at mum's), cheerful delivery drivers, easy read books (although one amateur sleuth wants shaking) and a gripping police series.5 -
Managed a little bit of a walk before the wind and rain started (and managed to get some towels line dried!). Don't think I'll manage one today. The wind is so strong I'd probably be blown away.
I'm getting a bit bored now and just want to be planning things. My anxiety levels have shot up in the last day or two. I always have to have a plan and this is really getting to me.
Anyway, I'm off the have a long shower and try to relax. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6
