Last time they raised the rate on issue 33 I got a text message about midday telling me they had automatically increased my rate and I didn’t need to do anything
today? Still waiting....!

Don't they normally do a new issue and you have to apply for that? I am pretty sure that is what happened last time.0

No they’ve just increased an existing issue - they do this sometimes- and they did this last timeIt will update soon - give it some time
if mines not gone up in a couple of days I’m going to send them a secure message to ask why0 -
Sorry to go off topic but how quick are Shawbrook to send funds to your nominated account when you make a withdrawal
Does it vary or is it quite quick?0 -
Not quick no
if I withdraw around 9am it’s usually in my nominated account about 1pm I think1 -

That's still same day, which is faster than I remember! I thought they were next day.
As for the update, someone mentioned elsewhere that they usually update overnight, so you'll probably get a message about it tomorrow.

Ah maybe don’t quote me on withdrawals then - I take money out hardly ever and I could be misremembering0

I’ve given up on Shawbrook and withdrawn my funds - admittedly before this latest increase. I found they site very difficult and got logged off several times while in the middle of things. Closure amount took weekend plus two working days to arrive. No closing statement sent or even an acknowledgement, so will need to find out how to get an interest certificate.I’m too old now to be bothered with difficult organisations when there is so much choice out there.1

I requested my money out yesterday (before 9am), and it arrived just after lunch today.
Can't be bothered to put it back now, but wouldn't have moved it if I'd known about the rate change.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)1
