Easyjet baggage charge

My lad just got hit with a £40 charge checking in this morning
I've give him some tips on how to reduce the baggae size, but does the charge cover one way or return too?
(i'm guessing one way only!)

It will be excess baggage one way.1

Assuming he hasn't booked with an unauthorised booking agent he should be able to add the return luggage of his choice either in-app or on the Easyjet website.
This will probably be cheaper than a similar charge on the return.💙💛 💔2
