Afternoon
paid stuff in progress but while having my lunch break I have tackled dailies, dusted and vac’d the lounge, I also recycled newspapers that have built up and rehomed some other gibble. Another room restored to ‘ not perfect, but better’ once I’ve done that with all the rooms I will start tackling a bit more than the basics,
one walk done, halfway to target, other half after workHave a good one x7 -

Hello
Foggy all morning, torrential for the rest of the day. It’s grey like November outside.
Work done, plodded through my list but not made any inroads into the backlog. Washing folded, shuffled, machine now loaded for the morning. DD back to uni city for the evening, but the 45 minute train journey has taken her nearly 3 hours. She is not happy.
DH had another day off. Stuff has apparently been done. I’m still not sure what that Stuff consists of.7 -
Evening all. It was grey and wet all day here too.
You're doing well, BadCat!
Fayolle, my DH doesn't even bother to claim that he has done stuff - apart from painting his wargames figures
Today I
- made a phonecall which resulted in another job being added to my to-do list
- asked my gardener to do 4 jobs, of which he completed just 2
- put the green bin away after it had been emptied
- dropped a load off at the CS
- went to the gym
- cooked our main meal at (late) lunchtime
- apologised to the dog walker that she hadn't been able to make DH hear her when she tried to collect Rosie
- went to the dentist for a filling to be replaced
- grabbed 20 minutes' zzz
- went to visit an old friend - stopped for almost 2 hours instead of the one I had planned for
- collected meds from the pharmacy
- cooked tea, once my lips and chin had stopped tingling from the local anaesthetic
- whiled away the evening on something (I don't really know what, but I was tired)
Tomorrow is going to be Baking Day
Hope everyone has a peaceful night xxx7 -
i have cleaned the oven…i bit the bullet and scraped the burnt on whatever from the bottom of the oven with a knife and used pink stuff and half a brillo pad (moneysaving) in at least three sessions throughout the day.

Hello all. It's very quiet on here today.
Yesterday I did zero flying around the paid stuff as DGD2 was here again.
Today, I have done work shift, been on two walks, sorted washing, hoovered through, done dailies and had a daytime bath. Oh and sorted admin and banking ahead of the new month.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Been out walking, muddy on the common to say the least, wellies nezt time I'm going that way.Came back from walking to find a deer in garden, eating my daffs, no idea how it got in, as it couldn't get out, so I have to open up the cat hole, it went out, now blovked back up.I've cleaned and cleaned some moreSorted out my make up, dumped some, put it away neatly.Oven wiped overHallway dustedBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
Cold and damp here now, but we have had a bit of sunshine, not that I have seen much of it. A full day at the paid stuff juggling numbers and budgets because it's that time of year when I have to report on how much my department has spent and fill in lots of spreadsheets. I like numbers so it's not been a bad day really.
Not much flying done today but I am up to date with the laundry and the house is fairly presentably. I am planning on an early start and early finish to get a bit of time to myself tomorrow afternoon.
Tired now.

It was absolutely lashing it down for most of the day while I was at work. DH was at home about 20 miles away in sunshine for most of the day.
Wm run first thing, nearly all of DD’s washing done now. Veggie chilli thrown in the sc, so dinner was easy. Packup (salad, yet again, in advance of Saturday’s slinky weigh in) prepped, WuLTD, kitchen put to bed, QHI seen off. I think that has been about it for today. Knitting now calls, as the end of this top is in sight, and I’m itching to start something different.6 -
well i’ve been zapped
also did stuff
