Timely Reminder - Meter Tariffs Still on GMT - Adjustments Needed ?

Coming back to this thread because, this morning, my meter switched from R02 to R01 at 9AM BST (8AM GMT) a 90 minute jump from where it was before.I even confirmed it on the meter itself in case it was the IHD glitching but that agreed.I've no idea why its changed, or why it changed now. Before smart meters I had a radio switch that allowed the exact switch times to be controlled by the DNO, perhaps there's some smart equivalent?Makes no difference to me with my tariff, but just goes to show that apparently you can't take anything for granted.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). As someone who's meter time moves 2-3 times a year due to a fault, I always check it monthly when I do the meter reading.
We are not on circuit switching but timers. So, the time is important. And the timers, as expected, do not change with BST. They remain on GMT all through the year.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Yes my watch - and my old car clock - it has a GMT / DST button in the submenu - despite the base time itself syncing off radio - both need manual intervention. But some big items can be set to adjust iirc - like iirc at least one of the electronic timers on either Elnur or Dimplex NSH in single wired modes.0
