If your purchase was made in store simply return it to the store you purchased from who will be able to help.https://www.specsavers.co.uk/help-and-faqs/can-i-return-products-if-i-am-not-happy-with-them
    As above.

I am doing this very thing next Friday.  I was told (on the telephone) that I need to make the appointment so they can try to rectify.  Irrespective of what they say I am rejecting both the glass and the lens.  Neither work.  I am going to the same branch but that's only because it is the only one within 50 miles.

It's best to go to same branch, as they are franchises.

Odds on they will do a re test & make some new ones.

I'm not sure how you can be so certain "... irrespective of what they say..."?

I had (or thought I had) a problem with a new prescription from SpecSavers a few years ago.  I went back in and they re-tested me.

The optician who did the re-test for me was excellent and explained very clearly to me that although he could understand why I thought the prescription was wrong, it was in fact me who was wrong.

Time proved that he was right and I was wrong...

(PS  I've never had any problems with the branch of SpecSavers I've used for about ten years.  I suffer from frequent bouts of iritis/uveitis and I've always found their advice very helpful.  I also persuaded my wife to use SpecSavers recently and she thought they were far better than her previous opticians - who also happen to be a very large chain of chemists)

It does not say you’ll get your money back, only that you can return them.  I’d expect them to try again.

I returned a pair 2 years ago , the frame was metal and spiky and every time I moved my hair got caught in the arms and it drove me crazy. I went in and showed them the issue, and they told me to choose another pair and remade them for me. I was very pleased with the way they handled it.

EDIT just remembered that previously my OH returned a pair of varifocals as he couldn’t get on with them, they spent time with him and then suggested he might be happier with 2 pairs, a distance set and a reading pair, he just paid the difference between the two, which was very little. He has now managed to get on with varifocals , but at the time, which was a few years back, he really struggled.

I don't want my money back and I never said I did - I am rejecting them under their 'no quibble guarantee' and shall have a different pair and with a lens that is correct.

What I won't be doing is going in on Friday and having these ones adjusted to fit better.  I shall be rejecting there and then.  There is nothing in the 'no quibble' guarantee that requires me to try the glasses again after having been back once to complain.

A friend got speca from specsavers but couldn't' see properly with them.

She went back and they immediately gave her money back.

She went elsewhere and got specs that worked.

I had an issue since the the eye test within the last month, needed new specs, got them, the normal glasses were fine but the sunglasses were terrible and out of focus, had to make a subsequent appointment to discuss the issue, turns out they hadn't measured the x axis of my eyes for the sunglasses only the y axis (the normal glasses were different frames) therefore the lenses weren't properly aligned.

To their credit they did replace the lenses, took another week to get the sunglasses rectified, but all in all wasn't an issue other than the repeated trips back and forth to them.  I just put it down to a human error on their part for not taking the initial measurements properly, mistakes happen and they were happy to put the problem right.  Kudos to them to be honest, used them for years and years now and was the first and only time I'd had any issues.

Every single year when I get my eyes tested Specsavers say I need a new prescription! Absolute nonsense, and I stupidly used to fall for it!  The coatings on their specs are really poor and don’t last
