Cost to cap gas supply

So ...fyi ... We've done more digging and it seems that it was once Octopus' policy to provide cap and disconnection for free but the info given (thanks @pochase) is old info and no longer applies. As you can see from their email, we have to deal with Cadence direct who will charge said fee or we continue to pay a standing charge to Octopus for a service we're no longer receiving 🤨

Email reply from Octopus is wrong answer, info on Octopus blog link from which has been posted twice on this thread is correct answer.

"Call your supplier. I had a similar misunderstanding. Octopus metering just came and removed the gas meter and capped off. No charge"
