I own a house (~£60k) jointly with my mum, and she's had to have her assets valuated.
Because I own half the house, and they can't force me to sell it, mum's half is valued at what "half a house" costs - i.e. how much someone would pay to buy mum's half with me still owning the other half. Needless to say this is a lot less than £30k. (And realistically for what the valuation was for, is £0)Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
much better explained than me - yep this is what i mean, :T
the half a house is not half a valuation but what somebody is prepared to payReady to Go Go!0
