UK mobile calls to France
Hi,
My dad is currently in the UK but has to call someone very regularly (several times a week) in France (landline). What is the cheapest way to do this please? He also needs free roaming when back in france so he can use his mobile when he's there (very occasionally). Can anyone help please?

french landline is $0.06 a minute which is cheap

You could use a VOIP provider (eg Voipfone.co.uk) on a mobile app which as long as he doesnt sign up to other services would be no standing charge and 2p a minute for calls
If you could persuade the recipient of the call to use a mobile then there would be cost free options0 -
