Pricing on majorca package holidays

Hi, new on here hoping for some help/answers we usually holiday at La Dorada Playa de Muro Majorca however this year price has doubled to £2000+ curious as to why checking on German counterparts costs same hotel/date/duration etc it’s 1,100 euros !!! now maybe I’m paranoid but does this hotel not want UK custom anymore or am I missing something that our European friends have .. I am a loyal customer but feel aggrieved that I have to move yet Germans are favoured.. anyone else experienced similar at all please. Welcome any suggestions.. thank you in advance ..

Are you sure the German site is not per person based on twin occupancy and the U.K. price for per room two share?

Assuming you've got the numbers right then it could simply be that the Germans have secured a better deal at the hotel if they've taken a lot more rooms/secured the rooms earlier. Plus the flight cost will be different. 

If you don't like it, don't pay it.

Holiday pricing is dynamic and will vary based on a number of factors.  As others have said, the flight costs could be much cheaper from Germany, or your preferred flight is very busy so more expensive.  The dates could be desirable for UK tourists but not so popular for German tourists so their companies are pricing cheaper (i.e. bank holidays/school holidays don't match).  these are just examples though.

Have you tried booking elements separately to see if you can save?

What time of year are you looking at? If it's eg the UK school holidays but not the German holidays that might explain some of it. If it's off peak, then you might be better booking late, contrary to popular belief booking late is usually considerably cheaper than booking early. Obviously you risk no availability at your chosen hotel, but if you're going off peak you'll almost certainly find similar available.
