Activating Lyca bundle [SOLVED]
Hi
I've started with MSE blagged lyca 3GB @ 1p for first 6 months.
*137# shows...
Your remaining allowance
Unlimited/Minutes and SMS blah blah 3032.00MB Data to be used by 20-04-2023
But smartphone doesn't connect to internet, and I don't think phone calls work either.
I have seen posts saying use
"You have to activate the MSE offer by entering the special 8 digit pin they send you in their first email"
"To Top-up / Activate your Plan, please insert the SIM into your phone and dial*116*PIN NUMBER#."
But I haven't got a pin number.
Nothing in any of the (many) texts so far and not mentioned in literature sent with the SIM card.
One of the emails says "Lyca Mobile: your bundle activation request for xxxxxxx has been received. It should be completed soon"
Is that it?
Just be patient and wait?
Are they going to send me a pin by text/email when they're ready?

Try these APN settings to get data working:APN: data.lycamobile.co.uk
Username: lmuk
Password: plusApart from that your plan looks to be active, try restarting your phone and see if it gets things working.Lyca sims are now coming preloaded and the PIN is no longer required according to this tweet:

Yes, it was the APN setting. In Advanced -> Access Point Names in 3 dot menu I used "Reset to default".And it's working OK.It shows those entries that you suggested.APN: data.lycamobile.co.ukUsername: lmukPassword: plusMaybe the APN was set to a previous network and Lyca didn't change it automatically. And "Lyca sims are now coming preloaded and the PIN is no longer required according to this tweet"Seems like the tweet is accurate. Thanks for the help.Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.2
