Clones website Chartered Savings Ban

Hi,
I have a warning and also need some advice.
the Chartered Savings bank website has been cloned.
I opened an ISA with them having looked at the interest rate on the top list.
luckily my banks security identified it as dodgy and suggested checking on the FCA site.,
and I was able to cancel the transfer of funds.
I gave a lot of personal info,
any advice on actions / precautions I can take to guard against fraud?
thank you.

Given this is a warning about cloned sites, it is worth pointing out that any company calling themselves "Chartered" Savings bank is a scam. The real firm is Charter Savings Bank. Details are important when it comes to scams. You can use the Financial Services Register to find the genuine contact details for a bank: https://register.fca.org.uk/s/ including its correct name and website address.3

Firstly, what exactly did the bank warning say, i.e. was it a warning specifically about a suspected clone site or simply a routine mismatch from the confirmation of payee check?
Can you share details of the URL you understand to be suspect, plus the sort code and account number you were asked to send to?
How did you locate the site to use?2 -
Check out all of these fake CSB websites flagged by the FCA, I'm sure there are others:Once again, those websites are scam sites, not the genuine bank's website. Entirely possible the OP went to the genuine website to sign up, and their bank's warning was just about confirmation of payee.2
