That does seem likely, if it required manual intervention perhaps someone miss-clicked a list.propnut said:
No I think they have made a mistake. As Raxial says, it looks like they have put me on an incoming tariff. I was always told Octopus had great customer service but trying to get my tariff changed from SEG to Fixed has been like dealing with a banana republic govt department.BossBob said:Bad news then. Octopus Flux doesn’t have a standing charge and over the last month the average price the paid to me was over 25p/kWh without really trying to avoid the expensive hours of Flux consumption. The battery covered the majority of consumption that occurred between 4 and 7pm.
Is that the only electric tariff on your page or do you have something like flexible octopus next to it? Even flux which is a combined import/export tariff still has two cards on the account page.

It's sorted. It was just an error. The guys answered my email quickly thank heavens. However to get to the point I initially sent an email on 4 May...heard nothing so rang 16 May, was told by the rep "no sweat, it will be sorted today and will show on your account later or the next day. Then less than an hour after that call I got an email, which I assume was in response to the email I sent on the 4th to say there was some technical issue on their side and could I use the website. They provided the link to sign up for export which asked for your MPAN, DNO etc. So I emailed back and said "no this is for new customers" The response came back, "ah sorry, misunderstood will get it sorted. Nothing showed, so on 18 May, called again only to be told by the customer rep that no I had to use the web link. So then I went to the Octopus Outgoing Fixed link put in my MPAN, DNO etc which then resulted in this situation. All the while their web site says you only need to send an email to hello@octopus.com to change tariffs, which is where I started!!!!!.......hence you can understand my Banana Republic comment.Raxiel said:That does seem likely, if it required manual intervention perhaps someone miss-clicked a list.
