Hi I've had a headache of a day can anyone help? I have fibre, phone line and anytime calls with virgin. As you know price increase is coming. Seeing as I'm on universal credit I asked if I could change my fibre plan to essentials tariff and keep phone line rental and anytime calls. They told me all their essential tariffs are fibre only and would cancel my phone line and anytime calls. I need a separate phone line as my mobile signal isnt strong enough. I looked at other suppliers who do both but they don't do anytime calls included. So I'm stuck with virgin and their price increase. Does anyone know of a way I can get cheap fibre and have phone line rental and anytime calls? Why has virgin decided that people need essential fibre tariffs but not a phone line?????

BT's social tariff (one of them) has 700 minutes included to mobile and landlines for £15.00 -is that enough? Or they do unlimted calls @£20.00.https://www.bt.com/broadband/home-essentials If they provide a Digital Voice service (ie your phone calls go through the internet router) they'll supply you with 2 new phones (although your old phones can be plugged into the router too).I moved my aunt from Virgin who'd be robbing her for decades in a death spiral of price increases.

which mobile phone and phone company are you with?
I just wondering if a provider which support wi-fi calling could help.0
