Onecom
I feel I've been mislead by Onecom from the start. 17 months ago I agreed to take out a phone contract with them on the understanding that they would reduce my existing mobile phone bill - the opposite happened. It went from £17 a month to £30 per month for a SIM only deal. It's a 3 year contract and at month 17 that I'm now in, the cost goes up to just under £100 per month for a SIM only deal for the final 16 months of the contract!
I can't just leave them as they will keep my business mobile number I've had for 20 years and I'll receive no business enquiries.
Does anyone have any experience with Onecom and any suggestions how I make the next 16 months affordable?
Many thanks,
Craig

If your biggest worry is loss of your phone number you could send a text to them to obtain a PAC code which will allow you to transfer the number to another provider. Giving the PAC code to another provider will transfer your number and end your contract with Onecom so it'll need serious consideration.
I think the text containing the PAC code should give details of the cost of ending the contract.
Maybe it'd be best to negotiate with Onecom to start with.
Given that you can get unlimited calls, unlimited texts and a certain amount of data for about £3 per month I wonder what you are getting for all the money you are paying? Do you use vast amounts of data?0 -
The PAC would need to be obtained from the actual network involved, probably Vodafone, if that's possible.Onecom are not a network, they're a (legal) scam outfit who trap anyone foolish enough to fall for their cold-call into an extortionate 3-year business mobile contract.Evolution, not revolution0
