easyJet flight time change

Loveholidays, as with many others, consider a flight time alteration of less than 12 hours to be a minor change, rather than a significant one that would trigger cancellation and refund rights, so you're not entitled to your money back or any compensation.
If you're wanting to move to a different flight then you'll need to persist with attempts to contact them in order to get the booking changed.0 -
thank you. I had seen something on this site mentioning different airlines and what they class as a significant change and it seemed to indicate for easyJet this was over 5hrs so I wondered if I might qualify0

But you presumably booked a package with Love Holidays and therefore will also be bound by their T&C's:10. Changes and Cancellations to your Travel Services
We and the Service Providers reserve the right to make changes to your Travel Services at any time. Most changes are minor changes and we and the Service Providers will endeavour to pass on to you information regarding any minor changes before you depart. Other than providing such notification, we shall have no further liability to you in relation to minor changes and if you choose to cancel your holiday, our usual cancellation charges set out in paragraph 9 above will apply.
Minor changes: A minor change made prior to your departure could, for example, include (but is not limited to) the alteration of your outward or return flight by less than 12 hours, changes to carriers such as airlines, or changes to aircraft or vehicle type. It may also include change of accommodation to another of the same or better standard with the same main features in the same resort destination, or changes to services available at your accommodation (including those envisaged in paragraph 1A in relation to COVID-19).
Significant changes: Occasionally, we may have to notify you of a significant change that we or the Service Providers are constrained to make to the main characteristics of the booking.
Significant changes made prior to your departure could include (but are not limited to) a change of accommodation to a different tourist area for the whole or a significant part of your time on holiday, or a change of accommodation to that of a lower standard/star rating for the whole or a significant part of the time you are on holiday. It may also include a change of your outward flight departure time (or the commencement of your other Travel Services) by more than 12 hours, or a change of UK departure airport, except between:
It's quite standard for package holiday bookings to allow flight time changes of upto 12 hours without it being considered significant.
easyJet may be willing to move the flights to another day if LH haven't already accepted the time change. However this may have to be done by LH, and then any other arrangements such as hotel and transfer will also have to be moved. LH will charge admin fees for this as well as potentially re-costing the hotel element.
Do you have access to your flight booking on the easyJet website?0 -
Thank you, yes I’ve got the easyJet app with my flight on. I also contacted easyJet and they said there are no other flights that day or the day before and they weren’t able to tell me why the flight time had changed so much0

Hi, I came across this post searching for help with my query. I feel for you as it's so frustrating. I too booked with Love Holidays. Never again.
Corendon, the airline has changed my flight by 5.5 hours meaning we arrive at 00:05. This time was an option when we booked but we didn't fancy arriving so late so we paid an extra £200 for an earlier flight. Now we feel like we've been ripped off but because it's lees than 12 hour change and the flight number is the same, we're stuck with it. They suggest getting a refund if I'm not happy with the new flight times but I know booking a flight now will be more expensive than when I booked.
In fact they did that with the hotel, offered a hotel 7 miles away (I'm going away with family who booked with On The Beach) so that was not practical so I had to take the refund and paid more for a cheaper hotel. Took 2 months to sort due to the text bot only option.
Sorry for the rant! I just wanted confirmation that there's nothing we can do about this flight chage to the cheaper fligh time?0 -
