Where do I stand? O2 replacement phone

I’ve recently taken out a mobile phone contract with O2 (best signal in the area). Paid £150 upfront for a refurbished iPhone.
It arrived and the next day I’ve had issues with the speaker phone, it’s super quiet. Followed trouble shooting rang up O2 and they said they’ve sent one out. It didn’t. This happened 3 times.
Now, they’ll send me a replacement once I’ve sent the phone back, only issue is I’ll be without a phone for a week. I’ve asked for an alternative as this won’t work, I need my phone.

Any ideas where I can get this issue fixed or has anyone had any luck/same issue with them?

However it will probably invalidate any warranty and make claiming using your consumer rights pretty difficult.Or just buy one of these for £13.50, then you also have a backup phone - https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9494174

As far as your rights are concerned, they're not obliged to provide a "courtesy phone" or to send the replacement before you send the faulty one to them. Therefore your options are to get it fixed locally yourself, or buy the cheapest PAYG handset you can find to tide you over.3
