I’m with 02. Been out of contract for about a few years now so just on rolling monthly plan. Had the emails stating prices going up. Deal on Uswitch looks good with 02 but wondering whether I would be allowed to switch from a rolling plan to another plan via Uswitch as both on 02? Also if a monthly contract I presume they can put the price up in April so maybe it would be best to wait until the beginning of April before changing? Any thoughts welcomed. Many thanks.

Many thanks. If it is a new customer (only) deal, and you wanted to keep your number, then you'd likely need to port elsewhere (outside O2), and then back in onto your new plan. If you don't care about keeping your number, then this isn't necessary. You could always phone O2 to negotiate, and ask if they can match the plan, while keeping your number.1

I swapped from a rolling 4GB monthly plan, back to the same the 4GB plan 12 month plan (albeit for less) going via USwitch. You just add to basket, then state you are existing O2 customer when prompted to move your number over. 5 minutes later I received a text advising me I had changed tariff. No new SIM or having to speak to O2. I intend to do the same when my contract expires later this year assuming there is a cost benefit. - Basically same number, same SIM, but now a cheaper price for the same plan - albeit now locked in for 12 months.

Just to say I went back in the next day to take up the USwitch offer but it was gone.0
