Bath building Society removed from LISA top 5- why?

I noticed that bath building society is not longer on the recommended cash LISA article- does anyone know why? As far as I can see still 3.19% interest rate. Was about to open an account and at last minute thought I would double check MSE, and now cant find their name recommended anywhere on the site for cash LISAs!

It's presumably no longer included because it's limited to local Bath residents only, so either Bath BS have changed their eligibility criteria or, if not, MSE may have changed their policy on mentioning those types of accounts, when only a tiny fraction of the country would be eligible.

My daughter opened one last week [not a Bath resident] so it looks like she just got in in time. No monies have been paid in yet but in the app she has an account with a zero balance. This shouldn't be a problem should it? I assumed it would be like other ISA whereby you have some time to add funds.0

Your daughter should have a confirmation email from them with the account number etc., in that email it should give a funding timescale.
If not, as it has now got the postcode limitation, you should get her to fund it ASAP, or alternatively contact Bath BS to confirm the funding timescaleIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

She had a registration successful reply and an account number. She has opened the app and it is visible there but when she tries to log on online it says the account has been closed and contact them for more details!0

It looks like she may have opened it online the same day as they closed it to non residents but youd think with an account number already they;d honour it.0
