hoseasons ignoring us

I know in the grand scheme of things there have been worse disasters but.my daughter , husband and two kids booked two nights at talacre beach hoseasons resort last Friday.

They got there at 7:30 pm. There was no one around but the keys to multiple caravans were left there to take , no security. they found their key and let themselves in.

The toilet was broken so that everytime you flushed it would nearly overflow, the blinds were broken in the shower room so anyone could see the kids taking a shower, none told them there was no wifi and finally when the kids went into bed there was a dead.fly inside the sheets. They managed to find security but they said they couldnt help so tough

My daughter is going through a hard time at the moment so this was really upsetting for her and the kids. They rang us and decided that night to drive to us and stay the two nights with us instead

They rang customer service first thing in the morning and wrote.an email. I have also written an email to the CEO. What have we heard ? NOTHING

Is there anything else we can do to at least get compensation and am apology ?

    Since it was only last Friday I think you need to give them some more time to investigate and reply.

    I don't know, I'd be pretty furious if I'd paid the amount you pay Hoseasons and this was the outcome. Frankly I'd expet someone to be dealing with it straight away. What happened when they phoned customer service?

    I'd equally be annoyed. Not a user of such holidays but a quick look shows their pricing as relly expensive, so I'd also expect a better level of service.

    As above, what was said when you called? WiFi I wouldn't expect to be in a caravan but definitely a working toilet should be a given.

    Their website FAQs says all accommodation has WiFi so it's certainly something I would expect to work albeit perhaps intermittently which is caveated on their terms and conditions. 

    I would write again about the other issues and if no response take to social media.

    My daughter was told my customer service they would investigate it but has not been contacted or called back. I take your point about sending another email which I will do tomorrow

    Post on their facebook, twitter, instagram etc. Often this can have an effect on a company's willingness to sort things out!
