Left Behind Bag alarm ?

Hmmm .. I don’t know whether to laugh very loudly or flame you for your sexist shortcomings ..MikeJXE said:There are some very simple options that are used so you don't forget to take something with you and they can work with a hand bag equally well
Clip on a dog lead
A surfboard leash
Or swap the handbag for a shoulder bag
So let’s clarify one or two things then ..
I’m a man, not a woman and the bag is backpack style bag or sometimes an Asda bag for life shopping bag .. no idea why you assume “handbag” sir but that says more about you than me.
As for your idea of a surfboard leash attached to my Asda shopping bag, well perhaps your fantasies being projected onto others in this forum is inappropriate 😂0 -
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.1 -

I'm not sure that is what the OP is looking for. It is an electric cable which you wind round your arm and through the bag handle so you are physically joined to the bag. If someone snatches the bag and breaks the wire the alarm sounds.RumRat said:Plenty of them about, seems lots of people forget their bags....Try this one... Handbag Reminder Alarm | Health and Care

I think the OP is looking for a two part wireless 'anti loss alarm' like this one available from several sellers on eBay for about £5.

The key ring part is clipped inside your bag. You carry the matchbox-sized receiver with you. The alarm sounds if you are separated from your bag by more than a distance which you can set anywhere between 0m and 25m

I’m amazed you have been reunited with your bag at any place it’s been left. NEVER leave your bag on the floor, hung on the back of a chair , put on the chair next to you etc, as there are so many light fingered people out there- my sister can testify to this as had two bags stolen- and all the hassle of losing cash, cancelling cards, personal info etc being stolen/hacked/sold should be enough to make you not forget your bag!! If you are still happy to walk away without it then I suggest using a cross body strap so it never leaves your person. The only way you will ever lose it then is if someone steals you😁. Please, everyone, be more careful and observant.1
