Nobbie1967 said:You can reject the car if there is a ‘significant’ fault with it. Most of the items you mention would not be classed as significant on a 5 year old car. The battery issue might be if it is found to be faulty as it is fairly critical to a Hybrid car.
If you want to reject, I would go direct to a BMW dealer for a report on the battery health and diagnostics on the High Voltage System fault. If there is a serious fault, you then have the evidence to support rejection. If the dealer get this done, they are not obliged to share the report with you and may try and fob you off. The low range may just be a result of the type of driving and use of heater, but the report from BMW should clarify that, bearing in mind that some degradation in performance from new would be expected.0 -
If the additional 3 year warranty you bought is insurance based, then it probably has so many exclusions as to be worthless. It's just added dealer profit. Everything 'consumable' or 'wear and tear' will be excluded. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

So an update...
There was a High Voltage Alert on the computer which came up last week. I took the car into BMW yesterday for a check.
It turns out there are many electrical faults and they wouldn't let me leave with the car.
I called up the dealership (one of the largest giant car sales in the UK) and explained the situation.
They said they need a report they cant do anything. BMW are writing up the report and looking into further diagnostics.
Currently I have no car (its the only car in our family) the dealer has not even offered to give me a car in the meantime all they are asking for is the quote and report.
Their service has been so bad I have now written to their directors. Let's see if they respond.
Surely they should be offering me a refund its within the 30 days of purchase and now BMW have said it is not safe to drive.1 -

Sounds like you’ve got a pretty strong case for rejection if BMW deem the car unsafe with many electrical faults. Once you get the report, send it to them with a covering letter rejecting the car and requesting your money back. Good luck.0
