Talk Talk price increase

Anyone else been hit with a price increase from Talk Talk today?

The time and effort I spent last month negotiating a new 18 month broadband deal, that I was happy with, has now been negated a month later, by a £2.98 a month increase.

Which is all in line with my terms & conditions.

Comes across as one big rip-off, and waste of time.

There are other providers who won't do this... but you'll pay more from the outset.

I had a new 18 month deal with talktalk last month also

I said to the guy at the time that it would be unfair to increase the price in April, his reply was he couldn't do anything about that and I should call sky at the time and put my case forward

That would be ok if you could even get through to them

Not been notified of the increase yet but expecting it

It's a standard industry practice and it's baffling it's allowed.

I just had a £7 pcm raise come through on a £30 pcm contract with Virgin, an 18 month contract which I am 14 months into.

I rang them and just played the game with them until they gave me a £7 pcm credit to my account which means the rise is negated.

You'll have to do the same I suspect.

See my post below on how to put an end to this shoddy practice
