It's been mentioned on the "best" thread a few days back.  Seems a good account.  Unfortunately, the telephone CS is not so good now, if you call with any questions you might be lucky to get a "professional" answering your call but more often than not, someone who has bought their Facebook / tiktok head to work with them and don't know how to switch up . Even if you don't mind that, the help offered does not inspire any confidence. Appreciate many will say they have had good service, I would be one of them had I not made a few calls recently. If you can do all online, great, certain branches may be better too.  I suppose one might say similar of many places but I was surprised at YBS 😔
Yeah, cheers but nah, I will stick with yes,  thank you and no.

    Thank you.

Tried to apply but was informed online that I already have the maximum number of YBS loyalty accounts! I have not seen any information about a limit on loyalty accounts in general, only on specific issues.

Logic says if you close one you could replace it but that might not be ideal.

Why not ask them how many you can have and let us know what they tell you. 👍

The loyalty six access E isa pays 3.25% over £50,000.  Would they allow you to open this new loyalty account and move the entire balance over to this new account which pays more?

Other alternative of course is to transfer the funds out - and then back again!

The wife was able to open a version 2 online and already has the original loyalty six access E ISA and nothing has flagged as not allowed and new account appeared in her list of accounts straightaway

Oddly however, even though you can arrange to transfer in existing ISA from most other providers electronically, in order to internally transfer between YBS ISAs you have to fill in a transfer form and post it off to them (or go into a branch).  Bit frustrating and archaic.

EDIT:   Seems there is an online internal ISA transfer option once the new ISA is fully set up.  But need to log on on browser not the app.  See my post below

Has anyone opened and transferred existing ISA into this? I selected the transfer existing ybs isa option as funding source expecting to be asked for further details…. Nothing requested at time of opening (or requesting account). Internet banking shows it as a listed account - setup in progress, guessing I’ll be able to transfer tomorrow? Just wondering if anyone else had managed it?

See my post two above yours.  Need to download an internal ISA transfer form and post it off or go into branch.  It should have shown you this when you continued through after selecting the internal transfer option with a lot of the details such as new account no, name address and NI number already completed. It did for my wife.

EDIT:  scrub that.  She's just looked at the new ISA (logged in on browser not the app) and on the left hand side there is an option under Manage for ISA Options, select that and then there appears an option to transfer an existing YBS ISA to the new one (as well as Transfer In or Out)

Very weird as they didn't indicate that option would be there (during the application process) once the account had been properly setup during the application process and she's sent the form off.  She is going to try the online option as well as hopefully that will be quicker (we had long delays before transferring ISA with YBS by sending form off as they shipped it out to a branch to spread work and that caused the delays)

The ISA has to be opened overnight before you can do an internal transfer, you get the previous partial / all options as you normally do.  Unfortunately, at the end of the ISA opening procedure, you are only given the option of completing the form and sending / taking it in. So don't get drawn into that. By all means, print the form if you want to cover all bases but wait until the following day before doing anything with that.  It's a new feature so it looks like their systems are not set up to facilitate it at the account opening stage.

    Thank you.
