    Sounds strange to hand this issue to openreach.  They are responsible for everything outside the house not the WiFi.

    And I believe charge back to the broadband supplier unless it is a fault in the openreach network

    I had to send Sky the router back, unfortunately. Perhaps it’s worth calling Now again & complaining some more.

    I'm with Now broadband and use a couple of old O2 Wireless Box IV routers as access points (AP) in distant rooms to improve coverage.

    The advantage of an AP over an extender is you get double the speed (and not all routers will work as extenders but all will work as AP's).

    If you have an old router give it a go.
