Pretty much, yes.

So the more social interaction you have with more people, the greater your chances of making that sort of connection.

Then once they start to get to know you better and your "background" they may like you more....or go off you.


By background, I mean, job, home, etc etc.

Eg.  I met my husband at work.  If I'd have gone to his flat for the first time and it looked like a dump, I would have been put off.   Or if he had obnoxious friends or family.   Or liked Football.
