Bank bribes - where next?

I started with co op and made a bit through referrals moved to Nationwide and then on to Santander where I am staying due to the cashback on bills. Opened another account and switched to NatWest. I can’t do RBS due to the NatWest switch and I have had a First Direct account in the past. There isn’t currently a TSB offer, is there a pattern as to when they run them, ie every 3 months? I presume it’s a case of wait and see now?

Some have been successful in getting offers from more than one NatWest Group brand, but that’s a gamble.Otherwise there’s no pattern, the offers come and go seemingly at random. They haven’t done them for years before the current lot.2

I've done them all, often more than once. They only 2 banks I haven't received any switch bonus from Is Barclays Bank and the Bank of Scotland. These 2 never seem to do them! I'm sure if you apply to RBS, you will be fine. I got their £175 bonus in November. Natwest paid me £200 this week and am waiting on Ulster's £200.1

These 2 never seem to do them!Barclays have offered double Blue Rewards for switchers on two (possibly three) occasions in the last 5 years or so.These weren't "bribes" though. The OP should note that In the UK it is illegal to pay or receive a bribe. Referring to a transaction within your financial relationship with a bank as a "bribe" is unwise, in a similar way to using the word 'bomb' when sitting in an aeroplane. Not everyone will appreciate the humorous intent.2

Yes, important to use the more correct financial terms "payola", "bung" or "schmear".Section62 said:These weren't "bribes" though. Bank of Scotland have an ongoing offer where they will give you a 3 month 0% overdraft whenever you switch a current account to them (no DDs required), as do Halifax and Lloyds. You can get this once every 12 months so you could do a switch to them for a bit of stoozing.rothesy said:I've done them all, often more than once. Try your luck with Natwest, RBS, Ulster, you have very little to lose.Philip624 said:I started with co op and made a bit through referrals moved to Nationwide and then on to Santander where I am staying due to the cashback on bills. Lloyds rescind this 0% overdraft if you downgrade your Silver club account post-switch.Bridlington1 said:

Are you sure ? I downgraded mine yesterday to the Classic account and the information suggested you keep any arranged overdraft, and can amend it or set up a new one. BTW I didn't want one1 -
I've had a £2k+ Lloyds overdraft since the 90's. Only the 3 month interest free bit was snatched away from me after I downgraded, the limit is still in place but I now get charged daily if <£0 balance.dealyboy said:

But if you wanted to you could just switch a donor account to any Lloyds current account once every 12 months to get a 3 month 0% OD on that so you don't have to switch to a Lloyds silver account. See:PloughmansLunch said:
