This is the exact thing. It definitely doesn't come apart. This is really hard to believe. IMO it's just impossible and makes no sense to cast so complex shape. That said, it can be two parts glued together.

Either that shroud pulls off / out or you feed the chain through and fit a joining link, the only options.

How did chain come apart from the reel, that would guide how to reattach it.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke0

The chain likely has a break point in it. That's what my blind has, and it just unclips.YNWA

I had this with a Dunelm blind the other week. You can feed it in by turning it by putting the chain in on the open part and then kind of feeding it through a bit at a time. I couldn't believe it didn't come apart either!!!Officially in a clique of idiots1

I get this often with my blind downstairs. You have to put one of the balls of the chain into the place near where the covered bit is, then try and feed that through with the string bit of the chain pulling between the tiny gap of the cover, and rotate it to feed the ball bit right through the impossible looking bit. Takes a bit of time sometimes.
On mine, the central bit does come out but it's difficult. It has like a push in locking bit which with 3 hands you can just about push together to release. Only had to do that once fortunately.0 -
Thanks. I think it may be faulty as you can only turn it a quarter turn, so feeding it through doesn't work. Glad someone else has said that it doesn't come apart!!RedFraggle said:I had this with a Dunelm blind the other week. Thanks, but yours is different to the Dunelm blind so that doesn't work.Bigphil1474 said:I get this often with my blind downstairs.
