How do I attach the roller blind chain back onto the reel? It doesn't have a screw and doesn't pull apart.

Hi,looks like you drape it over the wheel then push wheel into end of roller.0

you can't drape it over as one half of the wheel has plastic over it.frugalmacdugal said:Hi,looks like you drape it over the wheel then push wheel into end of roller.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!1 -
The top part of the plastic wheel may come off and go back on once you've added the chain.
Be careful, if it doesn't come off don't risk breaking it0 -

This can't be one solid part. It must have at least two parts that you should be able to take apart.northwest1965 said:

If I look down the centre, the plastic is all joined. It cannot be split in 2grumbler said:

I've always fitted the new chain by breaking the chain apart, then feeding one end around the reel thing. Does the chain have a link somewhere that can be taken apart?
Even if the chain is currently all of a piece, it's a good idea to include a separable link which will come apart if pulled. This acts as a safety device and helps prevent children/pets from accidental strangulation if they become entangled with the blind chain.2 -
Hi,was just about to post that ^^^^, cut chain and link.
