vodafone ex singlepoint

i recently applied for a loan for a van for £5100. , and got turned down, so i checked my credit history to find i have 26 missed payments to Vodafone ex single-point with the most recent missed payment jan2023. so i investigated this as i have been with Vodafone for at least 20years and paid at least 15years by d/d.

so i spoke to  Vodafone, customer services who have said i do not owe them anything and i have a very good credit history with them, so i was advised to raised a dispute with the 3 credit agency's i checked my history with. they are Experian, totally money and TransUnion. A statement  from Vodafone to Experian says

'' I can confirm that there is an overdue balance. The customer will need to contact Vodafone Customer Services on ********* to discuss this further quoting account number *******. Once the balance on the account is zero and full investigation completed the Account Credit History Team can review the credit file based on Customer Services findings. Please make the adviser aware that this account is on our older billing platform."

However, after contacting Vodafone customer services again, i was advised there is not any money owed to Vodafone and my credit history is very good with Vodafone.

So after 5 x 1hour conversations (so far) with Vodafone, and 2 complaint forms with screen shots of my credit report showing the outstanding amount to Vodafone ex singlepoint, i am still in the situation of Vodafone saying i do not owe them anything, and they have completed their investigations and cannot locate the showing amount. they have advised me , if i am not happy with the results of their investigation, then i need to raise a dispute with the credit agency's, and fill in a complaint form.

Now im not sure if anyone has noticed this repeat pattern yet!  A dispute will only confirm i owe the money to Vodafone until the credit agencies get confirmation this is not outstanding from Vodafone, but Vodafone are denying i owe them anything apart from the information they supplied to Experian, which no-one in Vodafone can find. so this matter will never be resolved and i will still have a credit rating showing i have 26 missed payments to Vodafone.

Please can anyone advise me on how to get this sorted out. Vodafone brought singlepoint in 2003 , and my Vodafone ex singlepoint account was opened (or transferred) in 2003 (20yrs ago) so i do not have any account numbers from that long ago, only Vodafone would have these details but Vodafone have checked all my recalled old postcodes and have said they cannot find anything relating to them, BUT my credit score still shows missed payments to Vodafone telecommunications ltd in January 2023 from an account transferred by them in 2003.

i have a perfect credit score, apart from these 26 missed payments and i cannot pay the £94 to a company that does not exist or denies i owe it  and no one can remove it. I am still in need of a loan for a van, and this is now effecting my work and family life, so any advice would be appreciated.

i even sent an email to the CEO of Vodafone and have not had a reply.
