Boiler losing pressure, need help finding the cause (leak?)
Any update, Bullit? With your CH presumably running more often, is the loss a greater problem? If it really only (or largely) occurs when the CH is being used, and the rads are hot, then I guess it does most likely point to a dodgy filling on the read pipework, such as a poor solder joint, that opens up a fraction when the pipes are hot. You - or a plumber - have not yet tried isolating the boiler from the rads?
Hi @ThisIsWeird, last winter up until April we were still topping up the every few days. It was off until November with nothing else done and since we started using the heating again (in November) we have not had to top up the pressure once. Very strange and very hard to confirm what the issue and resolution was. Maybe a combination of everything.
