Survey site access problems

I have been a member of a survey site for several years now, with no problems.
However, this past few weeks I have not been allowed to start their surveys when using my home wi fi, yet can access them using my mobile phone with wi fi turned off.
I can use other websites, including other survey sites using home wi fi with no problems.
Have contacted the company and they have said these issues usually resolve eventually.  I could keep using mobile phone data, but it is slower and eats up the data.
Have checked my IP location data, and shows my IP address is in England.
Have disconnected my router several times, but made no difference.  Is there anything else I can do, or just wait till issue eventually resolves?

    Thanks for replying.

    No, it's not OnePoll.  I clear cookies, cache, etc regularly and have no problems using their website.

    The website I am experiencing problems with, my survey responses are always redirected, even though they have emailed a survey for me to complete.  Like I say, when using my phone, I can usually proceed.  Their response to the ticket I sent stated that their system detected that my IP address was registered with another country, but checking IP locator, it is registered in London, England.



  • Have you got an actual error message you can share with us to give us a clue about why you can't connect?

    Do Plusnet have any parental controls in place?  Might seem odd but Virgin Media do, and sometimes this gets in the way of access to sites.  Just a thought.

    I have never asked Plusnet to place parental controls on our broadband, so there shouldn't be any in place.  I don't have any problems accessing other websites.  The survey site I am experiencing problems with allow me to access other parts of their site, and regularly email invitations to do particular surveys.

    Usually I use Chrome, but if I try to access the website I am having issues with using Windows Edge, a sign appears in a dialogue box asking whether I wish content to be translated from Portuguese to English, which is strange.  Still unable to access surveys though.

    @[Deleted User]  I can copy a link, but unsure whether it will contain identifying information.
