Alternative Fuel Payment / Eon

Hi, has anyone with Eon received their alternative fuel payment yet?  And is the Eon app working for you.  Mine hasn't shown daily usage for weeks and just keeps saying they're updating the app 😢

As a starting point are you happy you qualify to be paid automatically?

Are you able to access your statement online to check that you have not already had it credited to your account?  E.On are not automatically paying this back to customers bank accounts, so you would need to check the account details.

I emailed Eon and they told me told me to apply on Gov.uk (see the link below).

And good news on the Eon app usage tool which is now finally up and running.

After phoning EON they only gave me £150 as my account with them is a business one. I use oil and LPG for my domestic dwelling only which doesn't seem fair. House and 2 businesses are on the same site.

Do you have a domestic electricity supply to the site?  I'm guessing not, otherwise you'd have phoned whomever supplies that.  As you're registered with a commercial supply their hands are tied, they would have got the £150 commercial payment for you from the government rather than the £200 domestic payment.
