Payment not gone through

Hi,

Looking for some advice. I parked in a private car park and paid on the app, it took about 5 mins of the website not working and the app to download before I could pay. I then get a notification from my bank 20 mins later saying the payment hasnt gone through so I paid for the parking again but now I'm worried I'm going to get a ticket for the first 20/25 mins I was parked there before the payment went through.
I'm unsure if I should message the parking company in advance to let them know or not - any advice appreciated

Why not just wait and see whether you actually get a ticket? In the meantime, you can search and read the numerous threads in this forum that cover similar situations as yours.

BTW... is there any update on your other thread?:

Good grammar adds tone and nuance to the "written" word which is normally perceived in the "spoken" word. Without good grammar, you can be perceived to be an idiot or a fool without ever uttering a sound.

I would rather avoid getting a ticket at all if possible but unsure if messaging the parking company before that happens would help or not.
I asked the managing company and they declined to help so I appealed to the parking company and they reduced it

    Reduced what?

Your opening post seems to be saying you are yet to receive anything from the parking company.

@Alice___  Too many contradictions in your post. You either have received a PCN and you have appealed it or you have not received anything.

You obviously have not bothered to properly read, re-read and read again the Newbies thread where all the advice you should follow is provided. 99% of these cases are eventually won or discontinued before they get to court. 1% aren't won, usually because the advice provided in the Newbies thread was not followed or the victim just gave up.

You are already beginning to look like a 1 percenter because you have already gone against advice.

So... have you become a 1 percenter and funded the scammers?

Could it be that this post Today at 11:00AM is a two part answer, the first part being an answer to "why not wait" and the second part about the previous thread.  Would still be nice to get a full(er) explanation though.

@B789Well you've clearly not bothered to read and re-read and read again my original post and your own comment.
My original post is asking a separate question. My second comment is answering the question that you asked me about a previous issue I had.

@Le_Kirk is right, thank you. Happy to answer any questions

I may not know all the rules of grammar. However, if you're trying to persuade people to assist, or advise, it seems to me you should use their language.

“If you have any young friends who aspire to become writers, the second greatest favour you can do them is to present them with copies of The Elements of Style. The first greatest, of course, is to shoot them now, while they’re happy.”
