Are you dealing with this via the supplying/servicing dealer ? In which case I'd be leaning on them for courtesy car whilst they fix it - especially if they're doing the repair work as well

What requirement is that? It's been a number of years since it had to be main dealer service to keep a warranty.

What requirement is that? It's been a number of years since it had to be main dealer service to keep a warranty. 

But they can require a VAT registered garage & Volvo parts to be used, as well as keeping to their timescales for services.

To have a full Volvo service history. There's no requirement for it to be Volvo who do the work.
