we were due to be photographed today, but that’s been postponed because of the snow. So we can relax and stop tidying.

I assume you'll be accepting offers of approx. 50% less than the asking price as you'll be absolutely desperate to sell....It's the current market conditions, you know......

Just joking, good luck with everything. I recently sold (as in completed in Jan 2023) and I got over the asking price, plus (even tho it didn't feel like it at the time) it was a fairly smooth process. Fingers crossed for a smooth passage to your new abode.

We have bitten the bullet, and put the house on the market.

Everything has been put away, and it looks fairly presentable. We like it here, and in all honesty we don't want to sell. The sooner we find somewhere we would actually like to move to, the better.

Good luck to you.  Please keep us posted as to how it's going.  I need to sell and whilst I nail down where I want to move to, I am making my flat presentatble in readiness for when I bite the bullet.

I did offer 50%. You’re right. Together with a note that I knew perfectly well that the sellers obviously won’t accept it.

It was more a comment for the agents that they are wasting everyone’s time with hopelessly overpriced properties.
