We have bitten the bullet, and put the house on the market.
Everything has been put away, and it looks fairly presentable. We like it here, and in all honesty we don't want to sell. The sooner we find somewhere we would actually like to move to, the better.

I haven’t sold a property for a few years and when I did it was from 200 miles away

Everything went like clockwork, brilliant EA and I got a good offer from the first person who viewed it. It didn’t take as much time as it appears to these days.
