Zopa Laddering RIP

oh no. Small disaster with a change from Zopa. From today you can only pay into Boosted accounts where you have not given notice.  If a boosted pot has a notice on then you have to wait until it finishes before you can pay into it.

That's the end of laddering then.

Be fair, not everyone is fondling their online savings accounts on a daily basis (unlike me).

It is indeed, the search facility on the forums probably isn't as good as it could be? Searching for Zopa doesn't bring up the thread(s) from last week unless you change to Newest. The longest thread that related to not being able to move to pots started with the change in interest rate aswell, so not obvious that the info was out there.

The 95 day notice wasn't changed last Friday. So the 31 day at 3.31 AER is the now the sweet spot for me.

Really struggling with the ZOPA App abroad. I get to the "Hi page" but then it just gives you the spinning circle forever. Every other banking app seems to work fine.

Either use a VPN or wait until after 8 am UK time to access app.

Thanks for this thread. I've only just discovered that I can no longer transfer money into a boosted pot for which I've given notice, which is a real shame. I wish I had received a notice of T&C changes from Zopa or something rather than finding out through the forum. Oh well.

Hopefully you can access now? I'm abroad atm and have been able to access my Zopa account through the app. I transferred some money from my current account into Zopa and that only appeared on the following day. Not sure if it has something to do with me being abroad atm but I know other have reported delays beyond the stated 2 hours window.

FYI anyone mourning their Zopa ladder, I was just checking on when I can get all my stray pounds out and noted the ladder would now work again - transfers into boosted pots are available again. I haven't been tending to mine and I just gave notice on everything at once when this happened and it's not really worth it for me to get it going again but it may be of interest to someone!
