Afternoon from Carlisle. My room view has significantly gone down hill! I'm where the A7 leads to M6 and A66, lots of commercial vehicles but, to compensate there's an MS food hall. Despite that I'll eat in tonight. The drive down was very smooth though a bit rainy. Once I reached the M74 I set cruise control to 66mph and glided gently down the road. I only stopped once on the outskirts of Glasgow to get fuel and top up my windscreen washer bottle. So lovely to hear from you again Nelski and sorry about your bad health. Hospitals are really not great places for the ill and great that you're back home.PS 🤞 for you tomorrow Chrisca, the unknown is always a worry.10

Afternoon OH commandeered the computer for gaming and I'e just got it back. Not that there's an awful lot to report. The fire is on, I don't have to cook, leftovers for both of us later on, Thai green curry and lasagne..seperately! Not together! OHs mum very pleased with present, they're down to four quid for gas so they'll have to phone for emergency top ups from tomorrow and OHs stepd has an interview for a new job as it sounds like where he works is like where I worked. If you are a slightly less than a square peg, you can kiss the good stuff bye bye. Struggling on with the blanket, I've watched A New Life in The Sun series 8 hlafway through. Some of them do quite well, but some are bit unrealistic but either way, good on them for plunging into the unknown.Nels, what an absolute swine of a thing to happen again. You must be very fed up. I'm sorry you got the poo end of the stick. Gers, you frightened the stuff out of me too, even though I was prepared on OHs behalf and got two cards, whichever one she doesn't get this year, she'll get next
contiued safe driving! Chisca, break legs tomorrow. Scarlet, the stomach pains were self inflicted so don't go wasting your sympathy one me, I ond't deserve it
and I'm sure if more people realised no one esle's life was super exciting, there'd be more posts...we're all boring
